Storyline: In a incorporated town where streets are overrun by remedy dealers, those who have sworn to raise the law are breaking them to free from dirt up the streets. Denzel Washington plays L.A.P.D. detective Alonzo Harris, a long exercised narcotics officer whose methods of enforcing the legal science are questionable, if not corrupt. Training Day follows Harris in the manner that he trains rookie Jake Hoyt through a 24-hour period. Ethical dilemmas arise with a view to Hoyt as well as the audience as questions present themselves as to whether or not Harris methodology in opposition to ridding the streets of South Central Los Angeles of drugs is perpendicular or wrong.
